Codex

Prerequisites

• A Box enterprise account with the MCP server enabled by an admin. See Set up the MCP server.
• Codex installed.

Enable Box integration in Box

1. Sign in to the Box Admin Console.
2. Go to Integrations and find ChatGPT - MCP either by using the MCP Category filter, or by using the search bar at the top of the page.
3. Ensure ChatGPT - MCP is enabled for your enterprise by setting the Availability status to Available to all users.

Use the integration

1. Open plugins.
2. Search for Box.
3. Add the integration to Codex.

In CLI

1. Run /plugins in Codex.
2. Search for Box in the plugins marketplace and install it.
